Last Saturday’s cartoon was about one way to handle difficult billing situations. It’s not the most delicate solution.
On to today. I never get tired of doing relationship cartoons! Everyone is so darn vulnerable, that they are just ripe to get picked on by a cartoonist, or at least by me.
I suppose you could describe this as a cartoon about hope and denial: not reading the “signs”.
Dr. Karyn Hall wrote about distorting reality in Psychology Today. She discussed confirmation bias (looking only for evidence to support your belief), and then wrote:
“Democrats will look for evidence they are right and Republicans are wrong and vice versa.”
I think she has that backwards, and possibly inside out…but maybe I’m wrong.
I really think the best thing is to be hopeful, and just try the next bar. 🙂
Your comments, thoughts, and even ideas for new cartoons, are welcome.
